Jena Malone is one of many adorable indie actresses who have been around for awhile. While she has definitely established herself as a talented actress with movies such as ‘Donnie Darko’ and ‘The Go Getter’, we probably still remember her best as the daughter in ‘Stepmom’! However, all that may soon change with the potential blockbuster ‘Sucker Punch’ in theatres right now. The imaginative action movie co stars the likes of Abbie Cornish and fellow style star Vanessa Hudgens. It honestly wasn’t until I saw this movie that I even thought to look her up, and she is definitely worthy of being called a style star! Jennifer Lopez is our Style Star

Jennifer Lopez has long been regarded as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful people, now she has the title legitamately. Lopez was just named ‘Most Beautiful’ by People magazine, and for good reason. It seems the older Jenny from the block gets, the better she looks. Really, this girl does not age! Not only is she sort of devestatingly gorgeous, but she has a sort of bombshell style, that not many Hollywood starlets can really pull off. Always glamorous, Ms. Lopez never misses a fashion beat.

Jennifer has such a killer figure, it is no wonder that this little black dress looks great on her. The sequins on the front of the dress give it that extra punch that Ms. Lopez usually implores in most of her outfits. The high heeled black boots give the ensemble a rock and roll look, and her hair updo only adds to it. Jen went a little easy on the jewelry, letting the outfit speak for itself, and it sure does. Francis Bean Cobain’s Indie Rock Style

Upon the 17^th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death this last week, I got to thinking about the daughter he left behind. For being some serious rock royalty, Francis Bean Cobain has had a very quiet radar on her. While she does live in LA, it is with her grandparents and not mom, Courtney Love. In fact, if she didn’t literally look exactly like Kurt, we probably wouldn’t know her if she passed us on the street. For someone who more than likely doesn’t have to work a day in her life, she seems like a pretty grounded teenager. A pretty grounded teenager with really awesome style that is! Vanessa Hudgens is our Style Star

When I was a teeny bopper I can clearly remember the popular child stars at the time. I chose to worship New Kids on The Block, Joey (he was so dreamy!)  in particular. Boy bands haven’t left us entirely but today, we’re seeing a lot of individual actors/artists like Justin Bieber, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale reap the benefits of adoration. Vanessa Hudgens is definitely among the young, famous and idolized and in my opinion, is the most adorable and stylish out of the bunch.

I first heard about Vanessa Hudgens when she starred in High School Music, the film that launched her career from teen actor to superstar. Granted, I never saw the movie (and don’t ever plan to) but teens everywhere couldn’t get enough. That and the fact she dated Perez Hilton’s crush, Zac Efron. Their breakup in 2010 was sad to some while others reveled in the fact that she was single. Read more

Rachel Zoe is our Star Stylist

Love her or leave her, Rachel Zoe knows fashion. By far the most popular celebrity stylist out there, she’s made quite a name for herself amongst the Hollywood elite. Zoe first exploded on to the scene as the “it” stylist to young starlets like Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie, exposing her to both good and negative press. In her case the saying, “There’s no such thing as bad press,” seems particularly telling.

If styling the stars put her on the map, her TV show, The Rachel Zoe Project, catapulted her to a whole new level of notoriety. The show follows her every move while she attempts to expand her already successful business. Whatever she’s doing it’s working because not only has she launched her own website, The Zoe Report: Be Glamorous Every Day, where she offers daily tips, tricks and trends to her followers, she’s also designed her first ever clothing line (a collection that’s already taken serious flack for accusations of biting on another designer’s dress – yikes!). During quite nearly the entire decade of the 1990’s, no star shone brighter than that of Ms. Winona Ryder. She populated pretty much every good movie, hello ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘Heathers’; dated the hottest guy around…Johnny Depp, and always held on to her killer gamine like style. Now, we all know Ms. Ryder had her setbacks, shoplifting and all, but over the years she has held on to her innate fashion sense, it is part 90’s grunge, part modernly chic. Clemence Posey is our Style Star

If you are not an avid watcher of ‘Gossip Girl’, you more than likely don’t know who Clemence Posey is. A French actress, best known for playing Chuck Bass’s European girlfriend on the hit show, Clemence is making her way to stardom on this side of the pond, both in acting and fashion. Her style can best be summed up as Parisian chic at its best. She wears clean cut clothes with elegance, and adds a little something funky to make it modern. She is definitely a style star on the rise.

Clemence is shown here wearing a menswear look ever so well. The high waist black trousers are both slightly baggy and pleated, something that usually gets overlooked when it comes to menswear. Her crisp white colored shirt is tucked in and rolled up at the sleeves for a very European cool feel, and she tops the look off with an enviable chain link Chanel bag. Brava! Gisele Bundchen is a style star. Heeeellllooo, Captain Obvious! Making a statement like that is almost laughable when you’re talking about the highest paid model in the world. Gisele is a fashion icon; a force to be reckoned with and a savvy business woman (according to Wiki, she has an estimated $150 million fortune). Her success within the fashion industry is something every model dreams of but only a few ever achieve.

Having been a model for top designers like Alexander McQueen and Victoria’s Secret, according to Vogue, Gisele has single handedly moved modeling towards sexy over skinny – a change that I welcomed with open arms. Her popularity doesn’t stop there; it extends outside of the fashion industry into acting, where she’s had small rolls in movies such as: The Devil Wears Prada and Taxi. Read more
