Pretty Shoes for New Years Eve
Let’s just say that I will never ever need an excuse to buy a new pair of shoes, but I will also never pass one up. Any excuse is a good excuse to go shoe shopping and even the bad excuses help soothe my worried looks when I have no more room for shoes in my closet or when I receive those pesky monthly credit card statements. While it seems I’ll certainly accept any reason to indulge in more candy for my feet, one of my absolute favorites is a holiday party or New Years’ Eve. While there’s not much we can do about a bad food selection at these cheerful get-to-togethers (fruit cake, anyone?), we can definitely keep up our holiday spirits with a stunning new pair of heels that look as if they dropped straight out of footwear heaven. Put your best foot forward in my top three favorite holiday shoe styles: Read more
New Years’ Eve Cocktail dress trends are all about bright colors and what better way to stand out in a sea of black dresses than with a golden dress. This look starts with a gorgeous gold satin “Helena” strapless dress with crossover ruching by Elizabeth and James and black Martinez Valero Carolina pumps. Beautiful accessories include a Brian Danielle Citrine & Diamond Ring, Lauren Sigman Wild Flower Eternity Rings in Spinel and Citrine, and Citrine Drop Earrings in 18k Yellow Gold. Complete the look with a fashionable Miss Albright clutch; silk strand winds ’round and ’round, culminating in a brilliantly saturated rosette. You will definitely brighten the room at your New Years’ Eve party. Happy New Years!

Everywhere from the red carpets of Hollywood to mainstream stores like H&M and Forever21, it seems that color is making a comeback. That is not to say though that we are saying goodbye to our favorite LBD forever (my goodness, what would Coco Chanel think?!), just making some room for some festive new additions. Read more

5 Ways to Spruce up any Outfit with Holiday Cheer
Let’s face it; we don’t all have an extra $500 lying around to update our wardrobe every holiday season. Would it be nice to own a gorgeous gold sequins dress to rock on NYE? Would it be nice to find the perfect red, cashmere sweater to wear to your holiday party? Or a diamonds Christmas pin to add to your sexy black dress? Yes, of course, but it’s also not always feasible.
The good news is that you don’t need to wear a floor length sparkly, disco ball, gown to get in to the holiday spirit. There are small, simple and inexpensive ways to spruce up those plain dresses lurking in your closet into spirited holiday gear. Here are 5 of my favorite ways to add a little sparkle without breaking the bank: Read more
